Loogabarooga is back!

 

Now in its fourth year the Loogabarooga Festival of Incredible Illustrations and Brilliant Books Festival returns with a whole host of new friends and beloved classics in venues across Loughborough between 18th - 23rd October. Come and celebrate the Beano turn 80, with a free exhibition of comic art at Charnwood Museum plus workshops including Beano cartoonist Laura Howell and John Kirk's animated storytelling, bringing a Beano adventure to life!

 

As well as our Beano celebrations, there's a drawing and sparkly crafts session with the Isadora Moon creator Harriet Muncaster and Claire Elsom with be joining us for a Sport Spectacular with Horace and Harriet. Author John Hegley along with illustrator Neal Layton will be presenting the story of Stanley Stick and there's a day of Street Art which includes graffiti illustration workshops for children of all ages.

 

And of course our fabulous Ladybird book benches return to the streets of Loughborough.
