Premier League Stars Inspire Children with The Power of Positive Voices

Premier League Primary Stars has launched The Power of Positive Voices, a free assembly resource designed to help primary school pupils explore diversity, belonging, resilience and self-confidence through the stories of professional footballers.

Part of the Premier League's No Room for Racism: Black Voices resource pack, the assembly uses familiar football role models to encourage children to celebrate differences, challenge discrimination and recognise the importance of treating others with respect.

Featuring players including Virgil van Dijk, Ethan Ampadu, Alex Iwobi and Lauren James, the resource gives teachers an engaging way to introduce important conversations in the classroom.

The assembly is part of the Premier League Primary Stars programme, which provides free educational resources for primary schools across England and Wales. Nine out of ten teachers report that the programme has had a positive impact on pupils' understanding of diversity and inclusion.

Teachers can register for free and download The Power of Positive Voices to help inspire positive conversations in their classrooms.
