Step into 2026 with sparkle and smiles at the London Parade’s 40th Birthday Bash – a fantastic, free celebration for the whole family!
On 1st January, London’s streets burst into life with colour, music, and magic as over 8,000 performers take over the city for this milestone event.
Children will love seeing Andy Day – the much-loved CBeebies star – leading the fun with his life- sized dinosaur friends! Watch as these giant creatures stomp down the parade route, thrilling little dino-fans everywhere.
Parents and the family can sing along with Sam Ryder, Britain’s Eurovision favourite, bringing his huge hits and amazing energy to the heart of London. Plus, Heather Small from M People will lift everyone’s spirits with her iconic song Moving On Up.
Look to the skies for the breathtaking Heliosphere – a glowing balloon with an acrobat twirling high above the crowds – and enjoy dazzling floats, cheer squads, samba dancers, and marching bands from across the globe.
When: Thursday 1st January, parade starts at 1pm.
Where: Piccadilly -> Regent Street St James’s -> Pall Mall -> Trafalgar Square -> Whitehall -> Parliament Square.
Watching the parade along the route is free, but for a premium experience, tickets are available at londonparade.com or Ticketmaster. Choose the Grandstand Experience for comfortable covered seating and great views, or the VIP Experience for luxury seating, gourmet food, and exclusive access to the Finale Arena.
