Brian Blessed Helps Schools Generate Up to £13K for Energy Bills Through Story Writing
The energy crisis has seen bills rise astronomically, with schools being massively affected. To help schools, actor and writer Brian Blessed, known for his portrayals in Flash Gordon, has teamed up with children’s education platform, BoomWriter.
Blessed will write the first chapter of a story, with schools across the UK finishing the book. It will then be published by BoomWriter and sold, with all profits donated towards school energy bills. In addition, Blessed will select his favourite book and visit the winning school next April. It’s estimated that if 30,000 students signed up, each school could receive around £13k to help towards their energy bills.
