Get curious about the planet with Glasgow Science Centre

Glasgow Science Centre’s online science festival about climate change will take place 29 September - 1 October and everyone aged seven and upwards is invited.

Curious About Our Planet will help people uncover the impact of climate change and discover how they can contribute to a more sustainable planet as the UK prepares to host the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in November.

The online festival is free and features environment themed live and interactive talks, exhibitions, videos, and downloadable resources across three festival tents – Atmostheatre, Envirotent and Greenhouse. A majority of the content has been produced with primary school children in mind and teachers may find it helpful in starting discussions on climate change.

Some key highlights include:

How to be a Responsible Consumer, Thu 30 Sept, 1030hrs, Atmostheatre curiousabout.glasgowsciencecentre.org/ourplanet/atmostheatre/responsible-consumers/

Are we doing everything we can to help tackle climate change? Join Zero Waste Scotland in a live talk with Q&A to discuss the biggest causes of climate change and how being a responsible consumer can help.
