The Imagination Station- Story Making Workshops for ages 6-11
Looking for creative workshops for your young person to take part in this summer? Do they enjoy acting out characters or making new stories at home? Then come and take part in The Imagination Station, a series of 4 drama and story making workshops for ages 6-11.
Across 4 weeks at Exeter Central Library, Helen from Above Bounds will work with children to invent their own stories, through games, drama exercises and creative tasks. Some of the ideas generated, may even inspire Above Bounds Theatre’s next performance, but young people will also be given the tools to continue their story-making at home. The sessions are a fun, inclusive and friendly introduction to theatre and devising.
These workshops will take place in the Rougemont Room at Exeter Library, are 1 hour long and are drama-based, practical sessions, perfect for ages 6-11. Ideally, your young person would sign up for every session, but if you cannot attend a session, let us know so we can make the space available to another young person.
