This GloWild session is offered to families who experience sensory overload and is designed to be inclusive for those who might not otherwise be able to join in with typical festive-themed events.
This evening has been adapted to cater for fewer visitors, with minimal noise and less distractions, to provide a safe space for individuals with special education needs who wish to participate. All of our installations have been designed with SEN needs in mind, therefore there will be no strobe or flashing effects throughout. Additionally, the sounds for the installations will be turned to a lower volume to further cater for this. For the silent disco, the headphones have easily adjustable volumes and we will use no flashing lights in the disco area. All performers are also SEN trained.
