Ready. Set. Bake! The Big Bucks Bake Off is Back!
Do you have what it takes to be crowned the 2022 Big Bucks Bake Off champion?
Eden Shopping Centre has announced the return of the local fan favourite, the Big Bucks Bake Off. Making a comeback for the first time since 2020 after a short hiatus during Covid, it looks to be more popular than ever, especially with those that have a newfound love for baking as the result of a lockdown hobby.
But the Big Bucks Bake Off isn’t just for adults, oh no, Eden are also running a Kids Big Bucks Bake Off too! There are two kids categories including 16 & Under and 16 & Older which will be judged accordingly so that everyone has their fair share of winning.
Amateur bakers from High Wycombe and surrounding areas are invited to register their cake creation into the competition before Monday 4th July. Once all entries have been received, they will then be shortlisted to just 20 adults and 30 kids (15 in each kids age group). The lucky short listers will then have the opportunity to showcase their pre-made cake to a panel of judges including Buckinghamshire’s very own foodie content creator, Ollie Eats; award winning caterer Regina, owner of Graze Delights; and Muddy Stilettos Commercial Manager, Rachel Mcloughlin.
Ollie has shared his delight in being invited to judge the Big Bucks Bake Off, saying, “High Wycombe has always been my home town so I’m super excited to be getting involved in this amazing day showcasing our wonderful shopping centre and judging some incredible talented bakers”.
Regina also commented, “I am honoured to be a judge for the Big Bucks Bake Off this year and I am especially excited to see all the cakes from the successful participants. I think this will be amazing fun for everyone involved!”
Eden’s final judge, Rachel Mcloughlin, added, “Muddy Stilettos curates the best of all things local and it gives me great pleasure to be on the judging panel of Eden's Big Bucks Bake Off. I'm looking forward to seeing, and more importantly tasting, the competitors creations.”
As well as the prestige of becoming Eden’s Big Bucks Bake Off champion for 2022, there are lots of amazing prizes up for grabs, but not just for first place, for those that place second and third too!
