Father Christmas to visit Bletchley Park Vintage festive fun to be had for families this December
Visit Bletchley Park during the festive season and experience a 1940s themed Christmas. The home of the World War Two Codebreakers is having a special visit from Father Christmas. Children can see him in his magical grotto and step back in time to enjoy Christmas in the 1940s, with period decorations in the Mansion and around the park.
Father Christmas is situated in the Mansion from 3 December and every weekend until 23 December; he’s also here during the school holidays from 19 to 23 December. As well as the chance to see Father Christmas and take a photo, each child will receive a present and there are fun art activities to do and vintage festive cartoons playing.
To make your day even more special there is a Festive Afternoon Tea available to book during this time and for those extra chilly days there is mulled wine and mince pies available in the Hut 4 Café.
The Christmas Grotto visit is £6 per child (for 12yrs and under, admission to the park is free). Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adult entry to the park is £17.25 (includes unlimited free access for a year).
A trip to the shop will help you give inspired gifts this Christmas, with a special Bletchley Park edition Cluedo game the perfect present for sleuths who love cyphers. For a present that your loved ones can enjoy all year long, Bletchley Park gift membership will be just the ticket, giving access to members-only events, a 10% shop discount and an exclusive magazine. Orders must be received by post by 9 December, with booking forms available to download from the website. Gift tickets are also available to buy and offer unlimited access for 12 months; bookings can be made on 01908 272673.
The site will be open daily over the festive period except for 24-26 December and 1 January.
