At Thrift Farm there is so much for you to do and see. Spread over a 52 acre working farm our attractions include the Farm Park, Food4Thought Café, Garden Centre and shop.
Our brand new Food4Thought Café was opened late last year by our very own mascot, Thrifty, and offers a fantastic experience for café customers with greater space, an improved menu, and more seating. Outside there is a children’s play area and extensive decking for the summer months. Come and join us for a slice of delicious homemade cake or a meal. At the Farm Park you can meet a whole host of different creatures: from traditional farm livestock such as sheep, goats, pigs and chickens to the more exotic rheas. You’ll see budgies and cockatiels, and smaller animals, such as rabbits and guinea pigs, which you can pet at animal handling sessions during school holidays.
We have a variety of animals available to buy and an animal adoption scheme which includes free entry to the Farm Park on Adopter Day.
You are welcome to linger as long as you wish, why not bring a picnic or pick up a takeaway treat from Food4Thought Café to enjoy by the children's activity play area. Our gift shop sells delicious free range eggs, from the chickens, ducks and geese at the farm, a range of toys, cards and gifts at amazing prices, plus feeders, bowls, guinea pig and rabbit food, hay and much more.
