Organised by the Showmen's Guild of Great Britain, the Big and Little Mop funfairs are based on fairs granted to the town in a charter from King John in 1204. Expect plenty of classic fairground rides, games, stalls and refreshments. Little Mop fair from 12 noon on Sat 5, Big Mop Fair from 12 noon on Sat 12. Free entry.
