This autumn the world’s most popular toy will bring families closer to nature at WWT London Wetland Centre. Giant LEGO brick sculptures will be at the attraction in Barnes, London for five weeks from 3 October to 8 November, alongside some of their living counterparts.
The awesome models will form a trail of nine individually-designed LEGO brick characters, some inspired by real species at London Wetland Centre, including a giant North American river otter, a huge dragonfly, a red breasted goose and a mallard. After following the trail, visitors can enter a competition to win their own LEGO kits.
As well as following the trail, visitors can pre-book workshops for an hour of creative fun and games at weekends and during half term. Create as many ducklings as you can in 10 minutes, take part in the great LEGO escape and build your own LEGO brick pumpkin to take home. The workshops can be pre-booked online at www.wwt.org.uk/legobrickanimals and cost £8.50 per person.
There is no extra cost to meet the giant LEGO brick animals at London Wetland Centre. The trail is included in the admission price.
