KYNREN’S 1,000 VOLUNTEER CAST AND CREW GET READY FOR FINAL 2025 SHOW

Kynren’s volunteer cast and crew are preparing to take to the stage for an epic 2025 season finale this Saturday, the last chance this year to experience the breathtaking blockbuster live in Bishop Auckland.

Featuring impressive combat scenes, mesmerising mass choreography, dramatic stunts, breathtaking pyrotechnics, beautiful sets and costumes, and brought to life by a cast and crew of over 1,000 volunteers and 150 animals, the final instalment of Kynren’s tenth anniversary season will be taking place on Saturday 13th September.

Tickets are selling fast and only limited seats remain across all categories in the 8,000-seater tribune, offering unbeatable views of the seven-and-a-half-acre outdoor stage.

Visitors to the milestone season of Kynren have described the live action night show as ‘utterly, utterly awesome’ and an ’absolutely amazing experience from start to finish’.

Anna Warnecke, CEO at Kynren, said: “A tremendous thank you to everyone who has come along to watch Kynren this year. We have enjoyed every single minute of performing to you all and the atmosphere and support has been truly wonderful – none of us will forget the standing ovations and applause we have received each Saturday evening this summer.

“I would also like to thank our fantastic volunteers who have been involved in Kynren this year, dedicating their time and sharing their endless enthusiasm for the show to create such a memorable season. We couldn’t do it without our volunteers, and you are all extraordinary!”

Kynren brings to ground-shaking life the story of 2,000 years of history, myth and legend. From Viking invasions and Boudicca’s battles against the Romans, to the Industrial Revolution and Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations – a reimagined scene for 2025 – guests will witness the spellbinding story and experience thrills, shocks, tears, laughs, goosebumps and gasps on a truly cinematic scale.

The award-winning show is a family-friendly production with food options catered to all ages, and the final performance also has an earlier start time of 7:45pm.

Tickets start from £30 for adults and £20 for under-18s. Children aged three and under go free when seated on an adult’s knee.
