Hartlepool Tall Ships Races 2023 Music Headliners Announced!

 

 

 

The Wailers, will be headlining the Tall Ships Races 2023 alongside indie rock band and North East legends Maximo Park!

Maximo Park will headline on the Friday night followed by the Wailers on the Saturday night!

So get the dates in your diaries and join us in Hartlepool Thursday 6th – Sunday 9th July 2023!

 

We have a stellar line up with some of the finest emerging and established local and regional bands performing across the 4 days…here is a taster:

 

  • Firm festival faves Holy Moly & The Crackers

  • Venue filling folk singers The Young Uns

  • She Drew The Gun a psyche-pop band from Liverpool

  • Newcastle based Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra

  • Hartlepool’s very own Michael Gallagher who's making waves nationally right now!

THE TALL SHIPS RACE ROUTE 2023

The international Tall Ships, small ships and yachts will be sailing from Den Helder in the Netherlands to Hartlepool in North East England, then back across the sea to Norwegian Fredrikstad.

With only a few months to go until the world-famous Tall Ships Races returns to Hartlepool in July 2023, we’re delighted to see many ships signing up for this iconic event. These are the ships signed up so far – more coming soon!
