Ssh! SANTA IS COMING TO THE UNICORN CENTRE!

The Riding for the Disabled Association’s Unicorn Centre, based at Stainton Way, Hemlington, Middlesbrough is starting the festive season with Santa’s much awaited annual visit.

Special arrangements have been made with Santa for children to meet him in his Grotto on Sunday 4th December. They’ll visit him by riding a Unicorn Centre pony through a magical Christmas-themed course in the indoor arena. His elves will be on hand to lead the ponies, help the children and assist Santa with handing out gifts.

Chair of Trustees Jackie Rubin said, “Children love visiting Santa on a pony – it’s special, unique, and very, very popular, so early booking is advised.

She continued, “even children under 5 who are too young to ride can visit Santa on foot, so nobody misses out. This is probably our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it’s great to welcome people who wouldn’t normally visit the Centre, so we can tell them about our work.”

Santa Special pony rides cost £10.00 each or £19 for two, and include a Christmas rosette and gift. Tickets for under 5s are £5.00. Contact the Unicorn Centre to book a place.

The Centre’s annual Christmas Fair will take place on the same day at the Unicorn Centre, starting at 10 am. Entry is free. There’ll be a large range of local stalls as well as the Unicorn Centre’s own gift stall, raffle and tombola.

The Centre is also running an Advent Raffle with lots of donated prizes including a luxury equestrian calendar from Aztec Diamond, and riding gear from equestrian suppliers Vivendi, who’ll be having a stall at the Christmas Fair. Tickets are £1 each from the office or through Just Giving https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/unicornfriendsadventraffle
