Graveney School

Graveney School is holding its Open Day for Year 7 pupils on Thursday 18th June throughout the school day and from 5pm-8pm.

They will be offering the opportunity for families to have tours of the school accompanied by current students. Further details regarding the Open Day will be available on the website in the ‘Admissions’ section from the end of May.

Graveney benefits from a beautiful, leafy campus, comprising eleven buildings including a former Georgian stately home, a Victorian school building, a prizewinning block which opened in 2016 and a second new block was completed in 2019 with ten humanities classrooms and an observatory.

In 2025 Graveney School had their best ever GCSE results - 89% of their students achieved 4+ in English and Mathematics, 78% received 5+ in both and an incredible 52% of all grades were 7 or above. Graveney has also been deemed ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted on six occasions.

Year 7 pupils are drawn from a wide number of local schools, the vast majority of pupils living locally. In addition to a rigorous academic curriculum, a wide range of sports, musical and cultural extracurricular activities are offered to ensure that pupils are encouraged to excel in a variety of different walks of life. There is particular emphasis on outdoor education; the school is one of the largest Duke of Edinburgh centres in the country and all Year 7 Graveney pupils participate in a week-long trip to Wales.
