This autumn from 18th October to 2nd November, set off on an outdoor adventure inspired by Zog, the bestselling picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
Across the beautiful autumnal landscape of Kew Gardens, families can enjoy an interactive trail exploring the story’s themes of perseverance, friendship, and teamwork while making muddy memories and embracing the elements.
Children will discover five themed activities hidden amongst the trees, based on dragon school lessons from the book – learning to fly, roar, breathe fire, and more – through fun challenges, sensory elements, and interactive games.
The trail begins with a child-size carved wooden sculpture of Zog and ends with a life-sized scene from the story, perfect for capturing a magical family memory. Don’t forget to pick up an activity guide to discover your inner dragon and continue the adventure at home. Perfect for young explorers and story lovers alike.
Zog is included in the price of admission to the Gardens. This includes Kew’s £1 entry offer for recipients of Universal Credit and Pension Credit. Visit Kew.org to book tickets now, with kids under 4 going free
