Brighton i360 says thank you with free flights, fizz and birthday cake on it’s 10th anniversary
Brighton i360 is inviting local residents to celebrate its 10th birthday in style on Tuesday 4 August - exactly ten years after the attraction first welcomed visitors.
Residents living in BN1, BN2, BN3 and BN41 postcodes can enjoy a free flight throughout the day, taking in panoramic views across Brighton, the South Downs and the Sussex coastline.
Every adult flying on the day will also receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, while soft drinks will be available for children and anyone choosing a non-alcoholic option.
The celebrations will culminate with a special 5.30pm birthday flight, where guests are invited to enjoy birthday cake and raise a glass to ten years of Brighton i360.
Residents can book on the day by visiting the Brighton i360 ticket office. Proof of address within an eligible postcode will be required.
Since opening on 4 August 2016, Brighton i360 has welcomed millions of visitors from across the UK and around the world, becoming one of Brighton’s most recognisable landmarks and an important contributor to the city’s tourism and hospitality economy.
The anniversary also marks a new chapter under Nightcap, which acquired Brighton i360 in 2025 with a commitment to securing its long-term future, broadening its appeal and strengthening its connection with the local community.
Sarah Willingham, CEO of Nightcap, said:
“Ten years is a huge milestone, and we wanted to celebrate it with the people who have made Brighton i360 part of the city’s story.
This is our way of saying thank you to local residents. Whether you’ve flown dozens of times or have never been up before, we’d love you to come and celebrate with us.
I’ll be on the 5.30pm birthday flight myself, handing out a glass of fizz and a slice of birthday cake, so if you’re free after work, come and join me for a toast to the next ten years.”
