Battle Abbey School's Success at UKMT
Battle Abbey School pupil Libby Potter(Year 9) recently took part in the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) challenge, a national mathematics competition for pupils in Years 9, 10 and 11.
Libby was awarded a Gold certificate in the Grey Kangaroo 2026, scoring an exceptional 113 out of 135. To put this into perspective, a minimum score of 101 is required for Gold, making her result particularly impressive.
The school reports that this achievement places Libby among the top 1% of Year 9–11 mathematicians in the UK.
