As mental health issues rise among children, the school’s Wellbeing Team introduced the Zones of Regulation, adopted in September 2023, to teach children from Nursery to Year 8 how to identify, understand, and regulate their emotions. This approach aims to normalise discussions about emotions, empowering children and promoting emotional literacy and resilience. Teachers are equipped with vocabulary and conversation skills to understand behaviours and support individual needs, respecting each child's unique emotional state.
