Alongside the 40th edition of the Children’s Parade on 2nd May, families can enjoy fantastic events throughout this year’s Festival. From 3–17 May, young readers can join workshops and events with brilliant authors, including Michael Rosen and MC Grammar: Ridiculous Raps and Rhymes, Katie Kirby (Lottie Brooks’ Diary) and Kate Pankhurst (Fantastically Great Women). Tickets are just £10 and include a meet and greet with the authors.
