Last chance for schools to win £1,000 in The Square Camberley’s creative competition!

There’s still time for local schools and young creatives to take part in The Square Camberley’s exciting Community Corner Logo competition, but entries are closing soon!

The Square Shopping Centre is calling on pupils across the local area to get creative for the chance to see their design brought to life at the centre and win an incredible £1,000 for their school’s art department.

The competition invites children to design the official logo for the brand-new Community Corner at The Square, a welcoming new space, which will be dedicated to bringing people together through events, activities and community groups. The winning design will feature on signage, social media and marketing materials across the centre, becoming a lasting part of the community hub’s identity.

The response so far has already been great, with a number of colourful, imaginative and thoughtful entries submitted by talented young people across the area.

Gavin Vidler, Centre Manager at The Square Shopping Centre, said: “We’ve absolutely loved seeing the entries come in so far and the creativity from local pupils has been incredible. There’s still time to get involved and we’d love to welcome even more entries before the deadline. This is such a brilliant opportunity for schools to showcase their talent, be part of something meaningful within the community and potentially win £1,000 for their art department.”

Entries can be submitted individually or as part of a class or group project, making it the perfect opportunity for schools to encourage creativity in the classroom while getting involved in a community-focused initiative.

Participants simply need to complete the official competition template, available to download from The Square’s website, and create a logo featuring the wording “Community Corner at The Square”. Designs can be created using felt tips, colouring pencils or similar materials and submitted via the Customer Service Desk at The Square Shopping Centre.

The winning pupil will receive a special prize bundle, while their school will receive a £1,000 contribution towards its art department, helping support creativity long after the competition has ended.
