From snowballs to footballs, the Belfry is getting into the festive spirit with this winter’s World Cup! Take the family along to enjoy a whole day of festive and football entertainment on Saturday 19th November and the spectacular light switch-on event at 4pm with sporty guests and the Harlequin Theatre’s panto cast.
Santa’s magical Winter Woodland Grotto opens Saturday 19th November at 11am
Santa will be flying in to open his magical grotto on Saturday 19th November. You can book your tickets online in advance at https://redhillbelfry.co.uk/grotto-booking-2022
The visit, including a small gift, remains at just £5 per child. There will also be the option to purchase souvenir photographs. From 2nd December, the grotto will be open every day until Christmas Eve. This year donations made at the Grotto will support the wonderful Stripey Stork charity, Redhill’s local ‘baby bank’ helping thousands of families throughout our community. https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/santa-stork-2022
Stripey Stork’s Santa Stork campaign is also being supported with a Christmas Gift Drop-Off Point in the Centre to make sure no child thinks that Santa has forgotten them this year. Donate selection boxes, bags of chocolate gold coins and new unopened toiletry gift sets to help make sure every child in our community gets a gift from Santa.
Prize Elf Hunt
For the chance to win an amazing £100 Belfry shopping voucher in time for Christmas, join in the Belfry’s fun Elf Hunt to find all of Santa’s cheeky elves hidden around shops at the Centre during November and December!
Late night shopping
The Belfry’s spectacular Christmas lights and seasonal music will bring a festive sparkle to your shopping right up to the Christmas Eve, with late night shopping until 6pm and 7pm as the big day gets closer. Visit redhillbelfry.co.uk for all store opening hours.
Charity gift wrapping – throughout November and December
Don’t have time to wrap gifts? Not the best at wrapping? Get those gifts for your loved ones beautifully wrapped at the Belfry with all donations going towards helping the wonderful work of a number of local charities.
Christmas choir and charity gift wrapping day – Saturday 3rd December
Enjoy a day of lovely festive music from Redhill’s Renewed Hope charity choir when the charity will also be offering gift wrapping all day, with 100% of any donations going towards supporting the homeless, vulnerable and isolated.
Christmas Carols at the Belfry – Sunday 11th December at 6.30pm
Join in this much-loved community event which has been held at the Belfry every year since 1994. There’s lots more festive music during December when the Belfry hosts live Christmas music performances from local choirs and musical groups. Visit redhill.co.uk for all the dates.
