Essential retailers remain open at Woking Shopping

In the light of the government announcement of the second lockdown in November, essential retailers remain open at Woking Shopping. Shoppers will also be able to visit stores offering Click & Collect, as well as using the takeaway service at selected restaurants. All safety measures continue to remain in place at the centre.

Shoppers should visit www.wokingshopping.co.uk for more information on the shops that are open and their opening times. Customers should note that policies and opening times of individual stores will vary, so visitors are encouraged to check with individual outlets on their opening times before visiting.

To reassure all visitors, Woking Shopping has enhanced their already stringent cleaning protocols. The safety measures will still be in place such as one-way systems around the malls and limited queuing for both stores and services such as lifts, to manage social distancing. Face coverings remain mandatory to wear in the malls and priority access should be given to lifts and escalators with usage limited to one person/family at a time.

Retailers are working hard to help the local community and ask that visitors shop sensitively and respectfully. Woking Shopping site teams are available to help visitors with any questions they may have.

Woking Shopping has postponed some Christmas activities within the centre, but will be helping customers to get into the festive spirit at home. The centres are inviting shoppers to visit their website and social media channels to keep up to date with the latest news and for some Christmas fun, including a competition to be launched next week along with festive videos.

Rowen de Grauw, Customer Experience Manager, Woking Shopping said: “We are pleased to be able to keep essential shops open and offer takeaway and click and collect services at Woking Shopping. We very much look forward to fully inviting shoppers back into the centre in the near future and we hope to be able to continue with the Christmas activities we had planned.”
