This spring we are unlocking Polesden Lacey’s treasures both within the mansion and across the wider estate. The highlight event for the Spring will be a brand-new exhibition in the house - Treasured Possessions – Riches of Polesden Lacey. Featuring some of the most significant treasures in Mrs Greville’s collection that haven’t been on show for several years, you’ll be able to get up close to masterpieces by some of the world’s greatest and best-known artists, as well as exquisite objects by Cartier and Fabergé.
In the gardens and on the estate, there will be opportunities to discover some of Polesden Lacey’s natural wonders through ranger-led and self-guided walks.
Treasured Possessions exhibition
Dates: Open daily from 25 April – 30 October 2022
As well as being an extraordinary collector of people, Margaret Greville was also well advised about the objects she purchased to furnish her weekend party house and impress her illustrious guests. This special exhibition will give you a fascinating insight into Mrs Greville’s life through the stories told behind the artefacts in her collection.

Silent Space
Every Monday afternoon, take a moment to switch off and take in the surroundings in our dedicated Silent Space in the Upper Sunken Garden. Once inside the Silent Space, we stop talking, turn off our phones and cameras, and switch off from social media. Sit down on one of the benches tucked away in the shrubbery and enjoy a good book, or just take a moment to relax and enjoy nature. As little as five minutes will help us to enjoy the restorative benefits of being peaceful in a green place.
