Celebrate the start of summer with a picnic on the parterre, or take your hamper to the lakeside or Japanese garden. Children’s activities including croquet, skipping, hoops, Jenga and other traditional games. There will also be a small plant sale and refreshments available. Gardens open 12 noon – 5pm. Online booking: £6 entry, children go free.
