Follow the Summer of Play trail, a self-led festival of fun that stretches across Gibside. From Georgian games to racket sports, music making to nature creating, it's a summer packed with discovery. Tiny explorers will love the sensory play scattered across the Walled Garden, where every step brings something new to see, touch, & experience. And for grown-ups? You’re invited too - step into the puppet theatre & put on a show or discover moths on the Wildlife Wander. Whether your child dreams of becoming a sports champion or an artist, they’ll head home happy-tired, full of excitement & fresh air. Free event but normal admission charges apply & no booking necessary.
