This year's festival takes two forms: on Saturday street performers will be out & about round Durham, creating pop-up moments of joy. On Sunday, make way for the Grand Cavalcade! Master entertainers set up in Durham Marketplace with The Grand Exhibition of Contraptions & Curiosities, a charming yet chaotic show of myths, music, magic, mayhem, silliness, songs, sparkles, bangs & puerility, brought together in bewildering & breathtaking fashion.
