Derbyshire Woodland Festival – a great family day out!
The Derbyshire Woodland Festival at Elvaston Castle Country Park on Sat 22 and Sun 23 September is a great family day out celebrating contemporary and traditional woodland crafts with the chance to have a go. Meet Arbor – an incredible 18 foot tall puppet of a tree, the Vikings and the Green Man. There’ll be songs, stories and re-enactment plus lots of activities for children. From wood carving, turning, willow weaving and sculpture to bushcraft, bespoke furniture, arts, textiles and much more to buy.
