Golden tickets on offer to children in Bee Active summer sports giveaway
Physical education experts Bee Active are creating a buzz this summer with their £15,000 golden ticket giveaway.
Bee Active is offering 1,200 children the chance to get a taste of their fun summer holiday clubs for free.
The Stoke-on-Trent based company will be giving six pupils, in 200 schools, a golden ticket entitling the bearer to a free day pass at one of its six venues in Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stone, Forsbrook and Middlewich.
Bee Active had just one club last summer but has expanded its programme after experiencing high demand.
Run by brothers Ben and Bobby Mills, Bee Active has quickly developed into a successful business, providing specialist PE services to schools. The company provides work for 15 sports coaches working with around 70 schools in Staffordshire and Cheshire.
“Our work with primary schools and our school holiday clubs all aim to show children that leading a healthy and active lifestyle can be fun, and to inspire a love of sport and exercise which will serve them well throughout their lives,” said Ben.
“Six leaflets given to each school will contain golden tickets offering the recipient one free day at a holiday club.”
Day tickets normally cost £12.50 and Bee Active has a flexible approach where parents can buy half or full day sessions for their children and can add on optional wrap around care - giving extra flexibility for working parents.
This summer’s Bee Active school holiday clubs will be held at:
