This year marks the 250th anniversary of the invention of circus as we know it today by Philip Astley, the man born in Newcastle-under-Lyme who is credited with drawing out the first circus ring and filling it with astonishing acts – creating a worldwide phenomenon.
To celebrate, we have a family ticket to give away to see the world premiere of NoFit State Circus’ LEXICON when it opens in Newcastle-under-Lyme this month.
