Explore Nine Decks of Adventure at HMS Belfast

Bring your explorers on board HMS Belfast, one of London’s most iconic landmarks, and step inside a floating city packed with stories and discovery. Families can navigate their way around the ship’s many rooms, climbing up and down ladders and exploring all nine decks together.

Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating stories from the 950 people who once lived and served on board. HMS Belfast was a self‑contained community, complete with its own chapel, radio station and bakery, and its sheer scale is extraordinary – it’s so large you could almost lie Big Ben across its deck twice!

There’s plenty of fun to be had on board, with free family activities taking place every weekend and every day during the school holidays. Interactive displays help bring the ship’s history to life, while stunning views across the River Thames add to the experience.

With a host of incredible stories, hands‑on moments and space to explore together, HMS Belfast makes for an unforgettable family day out in the heart of London.

It's recommended to allow at least three hours for your visit, plus time to refuel in the ship’s café afterwards.
