Looking for a free family day out this August? Costa Del Croydon, everyone’s favourite urban beach escape, will return to the rooftop of Centrale from 7th - 31st August 2026.
Open seven days a week and completely free to attend, Costa Del Croydon brings sun, sand, and summer vibes to South London, with a packed programme of activities for all ages. From giant sandpits and splash zones to returning favourites like free daily workshops and trampolines, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
With two daily sessions running throughout August, expect plenty of free drop-in family activities from interactive dance workshops to classic family games like hook-a-duck. Even more delicious food and drink options will be available this year, serving up sweet treats, international flavours, and refreshing summer drinks. Every Tuesday, Croydon Voluntary Action hosts Community Days featuring local groups and performers, adding a real sense of community to the event.
Costa Del Croydon has become a much-loved summer tradition, welcoming thousands of visitors each year and offering a fun, accessible beach experience right in the heart of Croydon. Rain or shine, the fun never stops - if the British summer delivers a few unexpected showers, key activities will move indoors to a dedicated pop-up space within the centre.
