A summer highlight for families across Southwark is back!
The Ark Globe Academy tenth annual Summer Fair takes place on Saturday 20th June 2026, from 11am to 2pm at Ark Globe Academy, Harper Road, London, SE1 6AF.
This free, family-friendly community event promises something for everyone, with an exciting mix of activities designed to entertain and inspire the whole family. From dinosaur‑themed games and face and nail painting to a cup and saucer ride, bungee trampolining, zorbing and even a mini beach!
Visitors can also discover the wonders of wild science, with hands‑on encounters featuring fascinating mammals, reptiles and amphibians, alongside spectacular birds of prey that may swoop just inches overhead. Art displays, live performances and entertainment add to the vibrant atmosphere, while a variety of market stalls, food stalls and a BBQ provide plenty of choice for refreshments throughout the day.
An impressive raffle offers the chance to win cash prizes, vouchers, a bike and more. Hosted by Ark Globe Academy - an all‑through school in Elephant and Castle serving students aged four to eighteen, with an on‑site Ark Start Nursery for children from nine months - the Summer Fair brings the local community together while raising funds for school initiatives.
