The Conservatoire Summer

Holiday courses are getting booked up, so make sure you bag your place(s) for their art and music workshops lasting from a couple of hours to a full day. There’s even a five-day Make a Musical workshop, working with West End stars!

Of the four weeks of courses, each will be following a theme!

First up is Let’s See The World, in which you’ll be making art and using techniques inspired by countries and cultures all over the planet. Week two is Stories, Songs & Screen, when popular media will be your muse. Our Green Planet is next, exploring nature with all its colours, life and shapes. And for the final week, the theme is Lovely London; celebrating our beautiful, exciting and historic city.

In Art you can try painting, drawing, resin, collage, sculpture, tie-dye, weaving and origami to name just a few, and with inspiration as diverse as David Hockney, Julia Donaldson and Paddington, there is something for everyone!

If you’re feeling musical there are fabulous opportunities to get to grips with piano, strings, flute, brass, guitar, ukulele, percussion and sing in Pop choir!
