Get Dancing This May Half Term!
A range of one day dance courses are available this May half term, for children aged 4-16, at Central School of Ballet, in The Countess of Wessex Studios on the Southbank in Southwark. Courses are suitable for all abilities, from dancers aspiring to perform through to those dancing for the first time.
One Day Ballet Intensives across three age ranges allow young dancers the opportunity to improve classical ballet technique in the setting of a full-time vocational ballet school. 8-10 years and 14-16 years – Tuesday 28th May, 11-13 years – Wednesday 29th May.
A Coppélia themed workshop, for children aged 4-7, offers fun and creativity as participants craft their own performance and artwork. Taking place on Wednesday 29th May, parents will then be invited at the end of the day to watch a sharing of the children’s work.
Central’s Dance Around the World workshop will take place Thursday 30th May, open to young people aged 8-16. The course offers a diverse range of dance styles from different cultures, an exciting opportunity to learn and explore new movement.
