Come and explore the fun and horrors at Picton Castle with Halloween Craft Workshops and join us on a spooky and fun live interpretation tour with a magical twist – good for all the family.
Sir Erasmus Phillips, the owner of Picton Castle, has been obsessed for many years with the idea of travelling through time. Just a few days ago in his laboratory he created a portal through time – a door which allows anyone of us to travel from this very day to any date of their choice in times past. Or at least that was his theory. But something seems to have gone terribly wrong! Now the whole of the Castle seems to have become a gigantic time machine – and every traveller that has gone back through the portal has disappeared – perhaps never to return.
Be prepared to have your mind baffled by magical experiences that will intrigue you, stories and encounters that will scare you and don’t forget to wear your creepiest costume for a wicked walk around Picton Castle, with some real Welsh ghosts and spooky storytelling in a day of light, dark and illusion.
Activities commence at 11.00am and include Halloween crafts in the Small Gallery. Spooky Tours of the Castle commence at 11.30am, and will run every half hour – the last tour of the day will take place at 3.30pm.
