A Summer of Circus Magic at Woolwich Works

Looking for something to wow the kids this summer? Woolwich Works – tucked inside the historic Royal Arsenal in south-east London – is hosting Circus Works, a week-long celebration of circus arts running 10-16th August.

The fun begins with hands-on circus skills workshops with Dan Rose (10-11th August) – try your hand at juggling, diabolo, poi, flower sticks, cigar boxes and hula hoop. A brilliant way to discover a new skill and get a taste of what circus arts are all about.

Three spectacular performances follow: Norman’s Big Day Out (13th August) is a heartwarming tale perfect for little ones; Tony & Ray Find Their Feet (14th August) blends acrobatics and comedy – with a morning workshop with the performers themselves on the day. Then Summer Circus Cabaret for Kids (15-16th August) rounds things off with dazzling variety entertainment.

Whatever your age, Circus Works promises a week of wonder in one of London’s most extraordinary settings.
