Magical Myths and Legends Art and Music Classes at the Conservatoire!
Myths and legends provide amazing inspiration for art and music classes this half term at the Conservatoire in Southeast London. On offer are both short and full-day courses where children can unleash their creativity as they travel around the world of stories. From following in Percy Jackson’s footsteps in ancient Greece, creating stunning 3D masks; to mythological watercolour maps and costume designs; Thor and Loki portraits and sculptures; world-building with Momotaro, the iconic Japanese Peach Boy; Monkey King, Pegasus and mermaids – the stories and techniques covered are endless!
Little ones can travel to Central America in an art and music fusion, and the whole family can create together in a Family Resin workshop, to craft wonderful keepsakes to embody Flora the Goddess of Flowers!
On the musical side, ukulele and composition/songwriting and band classes are available.
On Sunday 31st May, join Alice and the White Rabbit for a magical family concert, Alice in Wonderland, with voice, flute and piano.
All classes are unique – a truly special day run by professional artists and musicians, where children can have fun, whilst nurturing their creativity.
