Jamies Gymnastics Academy celebrates 20 years!
This April marks a huge milestone for Jamies Gymnastics Academy as they celebrate an incredible 20 years of inspiring young athletes. From humble beginnings as a single local club, Jamies has grown into one of the UK's largest gymnastics organisations, now supporting thousands of children every week across the region.
Growth has accelerated over the past year with the launch of their first purpose-built flagship academy in Park Langley, Beckenham. Jamies now operates 12 academies, each offering a vibrant timetable of classes for every age and stage — from toddler and pre-school sessions to recreational, advanced, boys-only, freestyle (parkour), home-school gymnastics and competitive squad pathways. School holiday workshops also run throughout the year, offering full-day activities for just £27.50 per day. Their Chislehurst Academy is their second largest site and also houses cheerleading.
Aqua Elite Cheerleading, Jamies' sister company founded in 2022, has grown just as quickly. Starting with one competitive team, Aqua Elite now runs four teams, alongside weekly school clubs and Saturday recreational sessions. Their newest team, Baby Rain, introduces cheer to under-6s on a Friday after school at the Chislehurst location and is already proving popular. Try-outs for Season Six take place in July, with free trials available for the recreational programme all year around!
