If your children are looking for creative activities this half term, look no further than SE London’s original art and music school and community hub, the Conservatoire. All classes are taught by practising musicians and artists and teach children real skills in fun and inspiring classes. More than just a regular holiday club, children should come home excited and proud of what they’ve achieved (but also having had a great time!). Art classes this February half term are inspired by the changing seasons – frosty winter landscapes and spring buds and birds. Some of the wide array of classes are inspired by Chinese New Year, Julia Donaldson, Narnia, spring birds and The Polar Express, amongst more!
Young artists (of any level of skill and experience!) can learn new skills in painting, drawing, 3D Art, set design, sculpture, resin and plaster casting and papercraft.
Instrumental Days will focus on violin, cello, piano, brass, percussion, guitar, flute and ukulele, and will provide wonderful introductions to these instruments. With different activities running each day and options for children aged from 3 to 15 (and even some fun classes for adults in the evening!) there is something for everyone.
