Repair Pop Up Events Networking Meeting - Wednesday 15th October 2025
Bexley Council, Peabody and Cory are hosting an event on Wednesday 15th October 2025 from 10am to 1pm to discuss the potential of having a Repair Café in Bexley. They are bringing together people who are interested in helping to reduce their impact on the environment either as volunteers, or interested groups/companies, for initial discussions such as:
• Is there a need
• What is already available
• Can anyone help
• Where to have one and how frequent
Whether you have skills or experience or a passion for repair, your input is valuable to shaping this event.
Attendees include representatives/groups such as Men in Sheds, Wasteless Market, Learning and Enterprise College Bexley, LECB, Bexley Reusers (local group or persons that enjoy upcycling), plus many more...
There will be presentations given by an already established Repair Cafe and practical activities/demonstrations plus lunch will be provided!
