Get your knees up with music, theatre and art events for the whole family! Woolwich Works is marking 80 years since Victory in Europe with a good, old-fashioned knees up on Friday 9th May with Baby Knees Up – VE Day 80 Special.
Children can also celebrate spring (and all the seasons!) from the perspective of a tiny acorn as they experience a wild woodland world in Breathe on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th May. Following the performance kids ages 5 and up can book onto a Breathe Workshop where they can make their very own woodland creature puppet, and bring it to life as a puppeteer!
Swifties in every family can relive the Eras Tour as the City String Ensemble perform a night of Taylor Swift’s greatest hits as stunning classical arrangements in Taylor Swift’s Music Reimagined (Strings Version): An Unofficial Tribute Show, taking place on Friday 6th June. Experience Taylor’s songs as you’ve never heard them before!
Finally, launching from spring into summer, everyone in the family is invited to enjoy the alternative, fun and interactive art experience with a festival-feel of the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair: Summer | Edition on Friday 27th through to Sunday 29th June. Featuring live music, street food, plus interactive and family-friendly demonstrations and workshops throughout.
