Sydenham Village Fayre returns for 2019…
Saturday 1st June – 12.30pm to 4pm
A fun family day out including live entertainment, children’s games, dog show, vintage cars, BBQ, tea room and stalls
The annual event, co-ordinated and run entirely by villagers, last year it raised over £5,000 for local causes.
Live entertainment including performances from ‘The Ted Roper Band’, Morris Men, local school children and Stokenchurch Judo Club
There’s plenty for kids to do, including the Fayre’s own ‘Kids’ Corner’ featuring hourly shows from Mr Marvel and a variety of games for all ages. Kids will also be able to enjoy the inflatable assault course.
The delicious BBQ is hosted by Sydenham’s own Cricket Team, there’s ice creams and popcorn, ‘Pimm’s Tent’ and a ‘Gin Tent’. The Tea Room is serving sumptuous cakes and pastries and hot drinks.
Back by popular demand is the much-anticipated Sydenham Dog Show with a variety of classes to suit most canine competitors. Classes commence from 1pm – registration 12.30pm.
Roads lined with stalls selling quality gifts and goodies from local producers, also the ever-popular Bottle Tombola, Coconut Shy, Plate Smash, Plant Sale, Bric-A-Brac and 2nd Hand Book Stall.
Located in the heart of the Chilterns, Sydenham is located just 3 miles from Thame and 1.5 miles from Chinnor, off Junction 6 of the M40.
