Scalby Bay Dinosaur Walk

11 August 2014

This event has ended. Click here to view the details anyway.

10am (This event will also take place on 25 August)

This four hour long walk will visit some of the dinosaur footprints that can be found on the Yorkshire Coast, dating back to the Jurassic period, 165 Million Years ago. We will also find fossils loose on the beach. As this is a longer walk it may not be suitable for children under 10 years old, so there is no charge made for them. The route has one steep descent down a cliff path and then the beach can be quite rocky so walking boots or wellies are essential, plus suitable clothing and drinks/food.  £8 Adult/£6 10-16/Free Under 10’s/£25 Family(2+3). Meet by the footbridge near the Old Scalby Mills pub (near the Sealife Centre in North Bay, Scarborough).
