WIN one of five sets of family tickets to Skipton Castle!

Closing Date: 16th August 2015

Skipton Castle celebrates 800 years since the Magna Carta when the Castle owner William de Forz and 24 barons confronted the evil King John at Runnymede. The king agreed to the baron’s demands by signing a document with his royal seal. This was known as the Magna Carta – Latin for ‘Great Charter’

The charter is important because it establishes the rights of individuals and protects them against the power of the King or Queen.
