Housing boost for East Midlands

East Midlands house hunters are set to benefit from 907 new family homes as Countryside, a leading UK homebuilder, launches five new housing developments in the region.

First to launch is The Boulevard, which will comprise 160 homes and forms part of a £500m, 694-acre expansion into the south of Newark. Whilst The Colleys will bring 300 new homes into Grantham as well as a £2.1m investment into local healthcare, education and public transport.

Coming soon for 2020 is Portland Rise, bringing 84 homes into the market town of Sutton-in-Ashfield. Whereas commuters to Sheffield, Lincoln and Nottingham will be well placed in one of the 198 new homes at Machins Folly in Worksop.

For nature lovers, the Peak District will be within easy reach for homeowners at St Lawrence Fold, which will bring 165 new homes into Clay Cross.

Works are expected to start at Portland Rise, Machins Folly and St Lawrence Fold by February 2020.
