Further relaxations to coronavirus restrictions

Further changes to the coronavirus regulations have been approved recently. The public should continue to follow the public health advice - stick to social distancing rules, and practice good hand and respiratory hygiene to stay safe and save lives.

Relaxations

The relaxations include allowing:

  • indoor visits with one other household for those who live alone
  • outdoor gatherings of up to 10 people
  • the opening up of the housing market
  • the opening up the remainder of the retail market
  • outdoor training for elite athletes

and

  • places of worship and community centres to open to provide day-care

Public health advice

But do not be complacent - coronavirus (COVID-19) is still circulating in the community.
