A cross-community club for 4-12 year olds, facilities at Gort Kids include a new home corner, an air hockey table and an outdoor play area. Children can also do their homework at the club and staff are on hand to help, if needed.
Here there is a lot of emphasis on fresh air and outdoor activity. The nursery boasts over half an acre of secure outdoor space. Furthermore, there are new veggie patches and a sensory garden which sets children on a journey through five planting areas that focus on the five senses. It is hoped new features will attract brids and insects into the garden.
