Capel Manor Gardens Announces Spring Reopening with New Sponsorship Opportunities and Family Easter Celebration

Capel Manor Gardens is delighted to announce its reopening for the spring season, welcoming visitors back to its beautiful 30-acre estate as it bursts into bloom.

The reopening follows a recent partnership event held at Capel Manor College and Gardens that brought together industry leaders, businesses and supporters to explore the future of horticulture, education and green skills training in London. Capel Manor College is London’s environmental college, where students gain hands-on experience and qualifications working with the College’s estates, gardens, farms and zoo.

The event showcased the Gardens’ unique role as it is located within Capel Manor College’s Enfield Campus and serves as both an educational resource and popular visitor attraction.

Guests were introduced to the Capel Manor College and Gardens long-term vision, including ambitious plans for future show gardens that sponsors can help bring to life. Organisations can align their brand with sustainability and education, helping to create natural environments that support the next generation of horticultural professionals and provide inspiration to thousands of visitors each year.

Inspiring guest speakers
Attendees heard from keynote speaker David Domoney, British Chartered Horticulturist, TV presenter and author, and explored the Gardens through guided tours. Case studies, including a collaboration with Provender Nurseries, demonstrated the impact of sponsorship in action. One standout project, The Garden of Exaggerated Beauty, designed by student Steven Davies, showcased how creative concepts can evolve from plan to reality with the support of industry partners and student teamwork.

Easter Egg-Stravaganza at Capel Manor Gardens
Alongside the spring reopening, Capel Manor Gardens is inviting families to celebrate the season at its Easter Bank Holiday event, taking place from Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April 2026.

Set across the Gardens, the event offers a full day of activities for all ages, including a themed trail (with a treat for those who complete it), Easter crafts, planting activities, animal encounters in the mini zoo, and children’s rides. Visitors can also enjoy live entertainment throughout the day, including circus performers and opportunities to meet the Easter Bunny.
The event runs daily from 10am to 4pm (last admission at 2pm), with an entertainment programme scheduled between 11am and 3pm, making it an ideal spring day out for families.

Easter Holiday Trail at Capel Manor Gardens
Throughout the Easter holidays families can enjoy a quieter Easter Holiday Trail at Capel Manor Gardens, running from Saturday 28 March to Sunday 12 April 2026 (excluding Egg-Stravaganza dates from Friday 3 to Monday 6 April).

Inspired by the season of new beginnings, this Easter trail celebrates everything that is hatching, growing and blooming across the Gardens. Children and families can follow a spring-themed trail and complete the activity (with a treat at the end) as they explore the grounds, keeping an eye out for signs of new life along the way.
